Anthony Camillo, DMD, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Danbury, Southbury, and Ridgefield, Connecticut. Dr. Camillo delivers oral health care with the greatest level of respect and compassion at Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Camillo completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1987. After receiving his degree, he went on to pursue his doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Following graduation, he completed an advanced General Dentistry Residency at Westchester Medical Center and subsequently an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgey Residency at Westchester Medical Center. In his final year as an oral surgery resident, he was named chief resident.
Since then, Dr. Camillo has gained experience in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He is currently affiliated with New Milford Hospital, as well as Danbury Hospital(Nuvance Health), where he is actively involved in teaching general dentistry residents.
Dr. Camillo is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He holds memeberships in Connecticut State Dental Association, Americam Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Connecticut Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been voted as a "Top Dentist" in Connecticut by his peers.
